The much anticipated concert with the participation of world-famous pianist Evgeny Kissin took place in Carnegie Hall in New York. It was to commemorate the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
Famous conductor Krzysztof Penderecki should have also participated in the concert With You, Armenia, but due to health issues he was not able to leave Warsaw.
Nevertheless, the world premiere of a choral setting of Psalm 3 in remembrance of the Armenian Genocide took place. The piece was performed by Hover State Chamber Choir from Armenia.
