In general, 10 000 pupils will finish the basic school this year, and 20 000 pupils – the high school.
The ninth-grade pupils of Yerevan Basic School №6 named after Hakob Karapents are preparing themselves for the graduation event. Before going to high school they want to address their speech of gratitude to their teachers.
The passage to the 12-year education system has started in Armenia since the academic year of 2006-2007. There are 1 457 general education establishments in Armenia, 500 of which are basic schools and the 400 are high schools. In general, 10 000 pupils will finish the basic school this year, and 20 000 pupils – the high school.
