In 1928 the right of creating Disney characters belonged to Universal Pictures. During those years Oswald the Lucky Rabbit already enjoyed a success. Its author Walt Disney applied to the company’s director with a request to increase the salary. In response, Disney was dismissed.

The mouse spoke in a loud and sonorous voice. At first Walt Disney himself duplicated Mickey, but then he stopped it because of a chronic cough. Walt Disney Company has been struggling for preservation of Mickey’s copyright up today. It has been estimated up to $ 3 billion.
