The building of Margaryan Maternity Hospital was designed in the 1930s as a government building of Soviet Armenia. The works were still unfinished when they changed their idea, instead they built a maternity hospital, which became a birthplace for a hundreds of thousands residents.
There are sculptures on the 4 pedestals located along the building. Sculptor Yuri Minasyan placed them in 1981.
