One day a boy from a movie came to Armenia and started looking for faces for his own movies. Before becoming a prominent director of Armenian cinematography, Hamo Beknazaryan was shot in films of renowned Russian directors. The tall and handsome young man with tight muscles amazed everyone with his acting skills. But a century later people enjoyed not only his image, but also the films shot by him.
Probably Hamo Beknazaryan would continue his career in acting, if Director of the State Cinema Organization Daniel Dznuni had not undertaken the screening of the first Armenian feature film. There were many materials, but they centered on “Namus” (“For the Sake of Honor”) novel by Alexander Shirvanzade.
