This year the youngest museum, Komitas Museum-Institute, has also joined that campaign.
Armenia has joined the campaign “Museums at Night” since 2005. And already now workers of about 60 museums perfectly know that on May 18 museums are going to be full of visitors. So they should think of interesting programs to satisfy people.
On the decision of the Ministry of Culture this year there will be 2 museum nights in Armenia. The first one was held on May 16 till midnight, and the second one is due to take place on May 18. Though Monday is a non-working day for museums, cultural centers will be open till 18:00.
