The participants also laid flowers before the two monuments placed in the neighbor city of St. Petersburg, Kirovsk.
One is the restored statue of Peter the Great which was destroyed during the war, the other one is a cross stone placed in the location where the most heated battles of Leningrad took place, " Nevsky Pyatachok". The participants also came to support the veterans and the inhabitants of surrounded Leningrad.
