On May 8 the Armenian national pavilion at the Venice Biennale was opened on St. Lazar Island. It is entitled Armenity.
Eighteen artists from Armenia and various countries of the world are engaged in the Armenian pavilion. Many prominent intellectuals and artists were present at the opening of the pavilion. The 56th Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art will last until November 22.
