During World War II Armenian People had active participation in forging the victory in Great Patriotic War. Sergey Grigoryan everyday attends the Echmiadzin Veteran Council with friends. It has become a gathering place for the veterans of war, they play chess and backgammon and remember the difficult days and the stories of victorious battles.
They have special attitude towards the oldest in the council, Saribek Poghosyan who is 91 years old. He was 18 when he left for the frontline. He walked the path from Rostov to Berlin on foot and received serious injuries. Nevertheless he overcomes the difficulties and everyday attends his friends.
