According to Engel few countries succeed to pass elections with 71% participation. He unwillingly remembered the 2013 Azerbaijan presidential elections. He said that unlike the Artsakh inhabitants, in that country everyone knew beforehand who would be elected.
According to another observer Lorenzo Ochoa the people succeeded to preserve democracy in that small piece of land which is constantly under fire by the neighborhood country.
