Damala village is in the Samtskhe-Javakhk state of Georgia. The ancestors of the inhabitants of Damala were mainly immigrants from Erzrum in 1829. The 185th anniversary of foundation of the village is celebrated these days.
The events of the jubilee in the village started with the liturgy served in the Armenian Church and continued near the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
