Liturgies dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide were served in Czech cities of Brno and Jihlava, also seminar-discussions took place. On the symbolic hour on April 23 four churches in Prague joined the 100 bells ringing of the Armenian church.
The national minorities living in Czech Republic were actively participating in the events. The Jewish community of Prague, for example, initiated and implemented a commemoration evening which was accompanied by candle lighting and prayer.
