Onik Karapetyan was the son of Gyumri resident Tadevos and Astghik from Kars.
In the 1920s there were many orphans in Gyumri streets. Armenians are familiar to the destiny of one of them. People knew him as crazy Onik. Years later the boy took a pen in his hands and wrote till the end of his life.
