The amount of people who wanted to join the prayer of the leader of the Diocese was more than expected.
Though the launch of the main events of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was on the noon of April 24 thousands of people were in the church complex of Moscow early in the morning.
The amount of people who wanted to join the prayer of the leader of the Diocese was more than expected. A large screen was placed in the yard of the church for those who wanted to join the prayer and those who wanted to watch live the Yerevan broadcast.
After the ceremony the opening ceremony of the memorial dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide took place with the leader of the Diocese Archbishop Ezras Nersisyan in the lead.
The ceremony was initiated by the ambassador of Armenia in Russia Oleg Yesayan and the cross keeper of the church Ruben Grigoryan.
