Grandma Vard was one in thousands, for whom Western Armenian became Eastern, the castle turned into a house, the canton of Taron turned into the city of Vardenis.
Hrachuhi is the 3rd generation of that family. Her ancestors who had fled the genocide struggled against the pain by living and creating. Sister and brother remember that their grandma and grandpa did not change their language; they were speaking Western Armenian till the end of their life and were giving advices in that language.
The family having changed the nature of Mush with Vardenis faced a new issue – the marriage of one of their daughters. April 24 was selected as a wedding day.
