None of the speeches bypassed Turkey's denial and according to the genocide scholar Henry Theriault it is mainly due to the efforts of Armenians. And thanks to that politicians and media don't view denial as a credible position.
The participant of the forum Turkish political analyst Cengiz Aktar mentioned that the forget-me-not which is everywhere in Armenia bears the same name in Turkey and it is not a coincidence.
