The main aim of creating the museum is to prevent genocides in future and fight against self-destruction.
The largest museum project outside Armenia was launched by the head of the Russian and New Nakhichevan Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Ezras Nersisyan and the founder of the museum, the head of "Rutsog-Invest" holding Ruben Grigoryan. The values and events which describe the existence of the Armenian people are exhibited in the museum.
The main aim of creating the museum is to prevent genocides in future and fight against self-destruction. The museum is to inform the visitors that Armenia is one of the oldest countries and Armenians the oldest people and the attempt to destroy Armenians is like an attempt to destroy the culture of humanity.
Famous political-public officials, diplomats, representatives of national and religious organizations, scientists were among the visitors of the museum which was opened on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
