19 more countries have recognized the Armenian Genocide in different times. International community has condemned the crime committed against Armenians by the Ottoman Empire on different levels, beginning from separate intellectuals up to heads of states and legislative bodies.
There are countries that have recognized the Armenian genocide partially. Some states or cities have acknowledged the 1st crime of the 20th century, but it is still not recognized on the level of state. The Council of Europe, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and a number of international organizations have accepted the historical fact of the Armenian genocide according to the decisions adopted in different periods of time.
