The Holy Martyrs Church will be built in the park after Komitas of the capital city, near the pantheon.
The Holy Martyrs Church will be built in the park after Komitas of the capital city, near the pantheon. The project is ready. The authors are architects Artak Ghulyan and his son. A holy altar will be built in the church which will be named after Komitas when Komitas will be canonized by the Church.
A 1000 square meters territory was given for the construction of the church, a territory where a church was standing and was completely demolished during the Soviet years.
The president of the republic was present at the ceremony of blessing the land of the church. The Catholicos of All Armenians implemented the blessing ceremony.
