The Armenian-French painter Jean Carzou is one of the largest representatives of the contemporary art. In his paintings he presented gothic, renaissance, classic, baroque, neoclassicism architecture with his typical strokes solutions. He was awarded with the French Legion of Honor medal when he was 50. Carzou or Garnik Zulumyan lived and worked in France but his birthplace was Aleppo. His parents were Armenian and according to some sources migrated to Egypt because of the Genocide opressions. The works of Carzou are also presented in private collections and the main aim of the collectors is to obtain one of the 11 examples of Carzou's first lithography paintings.
