During the International Day for Monuments and Sites photos of Urartu historical monuments were exhibited in Erebuni museum.
The 50th anniversary of ICOMOS was celebrated at the same time. This institution is aimed to raise the responsibility of the member countries towards cultural heritage. From the famous complexes of Gandzadur, Ashotakert, Mher's door to the Urartu cuneiform inscriptions which alas cannot be under our protection de jure.
They remain to the mercy of Turkey which tries to destroy Armenian trace however possible. The cultural Genocide continues till present days.
