The aroma from St. Karapet again gathered the Janfida inhabitants near the church. Two cross stones were being anointed due to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide which were placed there thanks to Arthur Karapetyan who lives in Russia.
The foreign friends of businessman Arthur Karapetyan also placed six cross stones in the yard of the church.
Each cross stone is a story about the people who were left without a grave in Der Zor. They will pass to the generations the story of the Armenian Genocide which was initiated by the Ottoman Empire before the very eyes of the civilized world.
