Excursions, hardships and charitable work – this is only the part of the Armenian scouts’ life. “Astghik” National Union of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts has been working already for nearly 20 years.
The organization has more than 1000 members. They attach high importance to social services, for example, recently they have repaired the library in Byureghavan.
Among their mottos is to do one kind deed per day: lately they have visited “Prkutyun” (“Rescue”) NGO, center for disabled children and youth, and have tried to make their day interesting and happy.
