Guyna Markosyan who survived the Genocide is called Aba, big mother in her village. She was born in 1910, she was a little child when the Turkish massacres began. She remembers very well the childhood which she spent starving and in orphanages.
She lost part her relatives in the waters of Arpacha during the days of migration, those who were saved found residence in Mantash, first her brother and sisters died from measles and then her young parents.
