The president in his speech stressed the fact that the Armenian-Italian Friendship Group is the largest of the active Friendship Groups of European parliaments and has 128 members.
President Sargsyan, while referring to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide expressed his confidence that after the Italian executive adopts the bill criminalizing the denial of the Genocides the world will make one more step towards fighting those crimes.
