Modern information technologies enable to treat and diagnose patients at a distance. 11 Armenian medical institutions have been provided modern distant medicine (telemedicine) equipment on the basis of a memorandum signed between Armenia and India before 2014.
Hereafter 4 medical centers of the capital and 7 of regions will have an opportunity to establish contact with each other and with leading medical establishments of other countries, and to discuss the plan for treatment of seriously ill people.
The program will also help to prevent the patients’ flow from regions to Yerevan. Hereafter the sophisticated doctors of the capital can help them at a distance.
