Mother Teresa has confessed that one day she received a task from God to leave the monastery and to serve the poor.
Being of Albanian origin and an Indian citizen, Mother Teresa belonged to the whole world with her mission and to Jesus – with her heart.
In 1910 little Agnes Gonxha was born to the Bojaxhiu family. The girl’s interests and ideology took her to “Sisters of Loreto” congregation, where she selected the name "Teresa". Sister Teresa soon became mother and then a senior nun.
Mother Teresa has confessed that one day she received a task from God to leave the monastery and to serve the poor. It was both an order and an assignment.
Realizing how the poor and ill people needed her help, she participated in medical classes, obtained skills and started working. She was working selflessly.
