The aim of The Armenian General Benevolent Union created in the 1906 is to promote the cultural and spiritual development of Armenians. For already a century the Union successfully implements its mission. The 88th general assembly of the AGBU takes place in Yerevan this year.
One of the events in the scope of the assembly were the AGBU talks. It was a general platform for discussions which gives the opportunity to the representative staff to develop discussions on the topic of the development of the nation, propose ideas and projects and develop ways of their implementation.
The newly constructed building of the AGBU was opened during the days of the assembly on Melik-Adamyan street in Yerevan. The President Serzh Sargsyan also participated in the opening ceremony.
