The top managers of 100 Russian IT companies are in Yerevan. The "IT-SUMMIT 2015. Industry leaders meeting” conference was launched during which the Armenian and Russian experts tried to find ways of cooperation.
The IT field which was declared important by the government registers average 20% growth yearly which is ensured by more than 11 000 experts of 400 companies. And the product of the Armenian companies is mainly exported.
According to Karen Vardanyan, the executive director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises, the potential of the Armenia towards the Russian side isn't used, only 7% of the Armenian product in the IT field reaches Russia. The conference is a good opportunity to create profitable connections and to enlarge the amount of exports.
