This time it is connected with the name of Americana entertainment center.
The noise around the name of the American coffee shop chain Starbucks connected with posters with Turkish flags in the shops had just calmed down when a second incident was registered in Glendale. This time it is connected with the name of Americana entertainment center. Some Armenian youngsters rented a booth in the recreation, commercial and entertainment center and sold shirts bearing writings about the Armenian Genocide. But during the first days of their work the officials of the center demanded to remove a part of the products with writings about the Armenian Genocide. A few days later the representatives of the center demanded to stop the sale of the shirts with writings about the Armenian Genocide referring to the complains of some customers.
The youngsters appealed to court against the entertainment center for forbidding the sale of the shirts. Though as soon as they heard the news of the appeal the directorate of Americana changed their decision, the Armenian youngsters continue to demand compensation for moral damage.
