The best experts of the Athens "Metropolitan Hospital" are in Armenia to participate in the medical conference and discuss with Armenian colleagues the possible fields of cooperation. The foundation of this cooperation is the agreement made by the Presidents of Armenia and Greece in September last year. During the two-day conference the Greek doctors will present their diagnostic and therapeutic abilities. The Metropolitan Hospital is famous in the world as the best specialized and technically equipped major medical center.
The head of the St. Grigor Lusavorich medical center Ara Minasyan stressed the importance of this Armenian-Greek health project, pointing out that those fields were chosen which present importance to our country in health field and need constant development. Those are heart surgery, neonatal pediatrics, oncological diseases and breast problems.
The Armenian-American health center is also included into project which hosted the Armenian and Greek doctors.
