The Minister of Culture and Science Armen Ashotyan was on an official visit in Syunik Region. The Minister gave rewards to the pupils in Kapan high school number 2 who won the regional stage of the Olympiad.

The Minister also stressed that steps taken by the government aim for the improvement of culture and science. For example the number of state funding places in the tertiary education sector was increased. The vocational education will be encouraged to prepare competitive specialists in labor market.
