During the second day of the four-day session the National Assembly unanimously accepted the declaration condemning the Genocide of Greeks and Assyrians in the Ottoman Turkey.
117 deputies voted for the document and there were no neutral or against votes. During the parliament session the executive also offered to set a day of commemoration of the victims of Genocides and declare April 24 the day of commemoration of victims of only the Armenian Genocide.
