Tuberculosis has been considered incurable. People were convinced that it is hereditary. All were powerless in front of the decease: Napoleon Bonaparte, Anton Chekhov, Kafka, Vissarion Belinsky: these people lived in different countries and periods, but died from this same decease.
Today tuberculosis is no longer incurable. Moreover, in many countries, its treatment is free of charge. Treatment lasts at least 9-12 months. Then a patient should be regularly examined.
