But there are also cases when they divide human destinies. 7 years ago Armenian Jiliza village was divided into 2 parts: the one half remained in Armenia, and the other half – in Georgia. The former neighbors and relatives have been living in different countries already for several years.
The Armenian part of the village has 1 school, 13 pupils, 1 closed shop and a “hateful” Armenian-Georgian border. Sona and Marine Kocharyans have shot a film about Jiliza and its people.
