The customs officers register the first positive results of EEC membership. According to them the rates of car import and export are quite impressive.
The car customs house registered the growth of amount of cars imported from Russia. 200 cars were imported into Armenia monthly before 2015; nowadays the number of cars imported from the territories of EEC reaches 40 cars daily. Mostly foreign brand cars are imported. Changes in customs clearance procedures also fostered the import growth.
