More than 3500 inhabitants of Western Europe are involved in the “Islamic State” ranks. The data was published by The International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation and Political Violence of London. According to the report France leads in numbers of citizens who joined the Islamists.
Approximately 1200 Frenchmen are involved in “Islamic State” terroristic activity. France is followed by Germany and Great Britain whence 600 people joined the ranks of the militants. Ireland is the country which has the least number of Islamist supporters, approximately 30 people.
According to different evaluations the number of Russians who joined the Islamists differs from 800 to 1500. It was reported yesterday that 9 student doctors joined the “Islamic State” from Great Britain.
