Many famous writers, scientists, political-public officials etc. graduated the Tbilisi “Nersisyan” school. It was the most famous educational center of its time which had both a unique architecture and provided quality education and exceptional approach towards knowledge.
Hovhannes Tumanyan, Perch Proshyan, Ghazaros Aghayan, Derenik Demirchyan, Yervand Lalayan, Stepanos Nazaryan are only a few Armenians among many others who studied in the famous school.
It is difficult to evaluate the influence that this Armenian school of Tbilisi had on the intellectual core of Armenia. However, now the school's status is unclear. It is inactive for a long time, it is almost impossible to enter the area and it is even hard to find the current owner of the building.
