According to the authors of the initiative, the aim of the step is not only to honor the memory of the victims but also to inform thousands of people about the historical fact.
"The heart of Little Armenia, which will be named "Armenian Genocide Memorial Square", will be a reminder for the crime against humanity and the demand of its recognition" said Mitch O'Farrell.
