Karine, Tereza, Shushanik, Sanam, Nunufar. Along with dozens of roles, she was Alla with big eyes, whose name became known especially after the film “Men”; the whole Soviet Union was speaking about her. Alla Tumanyan became an idol for Armenian men and the most charming celebrity of Armenian cinema.
Like hundreds of other students Alla graduated from Yerevan Fine Arts and Theatre Institute, department of acting, and started working at the National Academic Theater after Gabriel Sundukyan. But nobody else repeated Alla’s success. Her colleagues claim that Alla Tumanyan was the most courageous actress of that time.
