The excavation works have reach the final stage, in about two months the asphalting will begin and the Vardenis-Martakert highway will be put into operation at the end of the year. The works are implemented by 6 construction companies.

Bako Sahakyan evaluated the results of the work done on place and stressed the importance of the high quality of the work and the need to complete everything in due time and gave the appropriate instructions. The president of Artsakh expects new quality not only during the construction of the highway but also during its exploitation.
