Daily Mail reminds that Genealogy group was formed special for this year’s competition.
The famous British Daily Mail newspaper referred to the Genealogy group that will represent Armenia in “Eurovision-2015” song contest, presenting to the reader the member of the group who represents Australia, Mary Jean O’Doherty Vasmatzian.
The newspaper writes that Mary was born in The USA, Houston city Texas, her father is Australian and her mother has Greek and Armenian ancestry. Daily Mail reminds that Genealogy group was formed special for this year’s competition. The group includes Inga Arshakyan from Armenia, Vahe Tilbian from Ethiopia, Tamar Kaprelian from America, Stephanie Topalian from Japan and France-Armenian Esayi Altunyan.
Mary studied in The USA, in North Carolina where she studied vocals and flute. Afterwards she moved to Australia to continue her musical career, where she won in the Australian young vocalists ABC Symphony competition in 2007. One year later Mary was the first one to receive the main price during the Australian International Opera Awards.
In the end Daily Mail mentions that the Genealogy group has released the song that they will perform during the competition in Austria in May. The song “Don’t Deny” has already managed to receive the good assessment of the critics.
