According to the inspections of the committee during the 2011-2014 years the domestic freight prices grew by 5-17%, interstate prices by 17%.
State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition implemented large-scale inspections in "South Caucasus Railway" company mainly focusing on freight rates policy.
The head of the committee Artak Shaboyan declared about that. Though the company implements concession liabilities assumed in advance it still works with losses. Besides that, the importers started to complain about the freight rates.
