It is already for two years that the socio-economic empowerment program is implemented in Lori. The EU gives funds to make the women inhabitants of small communities more active, initiate their own business, conduct it or strengthen their enterprises.
Already 14 projects have been implemented and now are in process: from sweets-biscuits industry to canneries. At the starting stage of the project local economic development models have been developed for 43 communities. 7 business lessons have been organized for the women of the region to which 140 people were present.
