Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan passed the invitation of President Sargsyan to visit Armenia to the Emir of Kuwait.
The delegation with the Prime Minister of Armenia at the head had a meeting with Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in the residence of Emir in Kuwait. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan passed the invitation of President Sargsyan to visit Armenia to the Emir of Kuwait.
According to the Emir of Kuwait his country is ready to discuss every question which will serve the needs of both countries, develop and expand the cooperation with Armenia in different fields. Emir mentioned that there are no obstacles in reaching those goals. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the Kuwait Republic for its warm attitude towards the Armenian community in the country and for supporting Syrian-Armenians who moved into Armenia in the result of the civil war in Syria.
Hovik Abrahamyan also met the speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait Marzouq Al-Ghanim. They both stressed the importance of further development of inter-parliamentary relations, activation of the economic cooperation. The Prime Minister was present at the plenary session of the parliament and afterwards had a private conversation with his Kuwait colleague Prime Minister Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah which was followed by an extended meeting.
