One more ceremony took place near the statue of Komitas where the memorial was opened.
Many different events continue to take place all over the world in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
On the initiative of the France-Armenian union "the Blue Cross" the Paris Yerevan Park was supplemented with 100 rose trees in memory of women who fell victim during the Armenian Genocide on the occasion of the International Women's Day and in the scope of the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
One more ceremony took place near the statue of Komitas where the memorial was opened. In the scope of events launched in Paris a classic concert will take place in the famous "Châtelet" concert hall on April 21. A major three-month exhibition will be launched in the Paris City Hall on April 28.
