The handmade works of women who lived through the Genocide were exhibited in UN Headquarters

Examples were gathered throughout years and were mainly donations of women from north-eastern states of The USA.

The handmade works of Armenian women who miraculously lived through the Genocide were exhibited next to the symbol of 100th anniversary of Genocide the forget-me-not in UN Headquarters.

The needle and the sewing machine gave the opportunity to Armenian women to unite and gain power and create community unions. One of them was Armenian Relief Society. Examples were gathered throughout years and were mainly donations of women from north-eastern states of The USA.
