The Tbilisi theatre after Petros Adamyan hadn’t been repaired for 70 years. It’s already 5 years that the Seismic Safety Center forbade using the building.
During those 5 years the creative group managed to give 25 new performances and act 250 times in Javakhk, in other parts of Georgia inhabited by Armenians, Armenia, Russia and France. A special committee was created to repair not only the Armenian theatre but also various buildings which present cultural value.
The committee is led by the Minister of Culture of Georgia. The reconstruction works of theatre will start soon.
