The eight months of Andranik Ozanian’s life and activity – from August 1918 till late March 1919 – are connected with Sisian. Angeghakot is the village, where the commander found an asylum with his troops and 1656 migrants.
Andranik Ozanian was commemorated on the occasion of his 150th birthday in the church, in the courtyard of which he had conducted meetings for many times. Flowers were laid at the tombs of his soldiers. The event was undertaken by Sisian Museum of History.
