The photo portrays the meeting of John Lennon and the author’s friend, translator Samvel Mkrtchyan. The heroes, of course, are absent, but the meeting has a silent victim. German Avagyan put the book given by Samvel Mkrtchyan next to the memorial with IMAGINE inscription and photographed. The renowned Armenian translator had dreamed all his life to meet the singer, who had revolutionized the world. German Avagyan partly fulfilled his friend’s wish.
